Engagement Chicken Recipe

Let’s take a look at this guy-catching recipe, we’re going for one chicken, since we doubt that more will increase the chances of a proposal.

Engagement Chicken

Ingredients:

1 whole chicken
3 whole lemons
1/2 cup of fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp of sea salt
1/2 tbsp of ground pepper

Preparation:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Wash the chicken, inside and outside.
  • Let the chicken rest until it gets room tempered (about 20 minutes).
  • Pour the lemon juice all over the chicken.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pierce two of the lemons a few times with a knife.
  • Place them deep inside the chicken.
  • Place the chicken in a roasting pan and bake for 13 minutes.
  • Take out the chicken from the oven and turn it (use a spoon or fork).
  • Lower the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Put the chicken back in the oven and bake for another 30-35 minutes.
  • If you’re uncertain whether it’s done or not, you can prick the chicken with a fork, if the juices are clear, it’s done.
  • Slice the last lemon for garnish.
  • Serve with desired accessories (potatoes, rice or whatever you and your future husband prefers).
